MOND

Denmark

MOND are the Danish tailors I have been dressed by for years. Made to measure, cut for where you are actually going, and built into a wardrobe one piece at a time.

How we met

It started with modelling. A few years ago I began shooting for MOND, and of all the places in Denmark to have clothes made, it quickly became the one I liked best. You walk into the store and choose exactly what you want. Once they have your profile and your measurements, you are no longer buying single pieces. You are building a wardrobe.

Over the years the modelling turned into a working relationship. New shirt styles, suits, jeans and chinos for their casual collection, and now the biggest one yet: our trip to Africa.

Why we partner with them

You choose everything. Cloth, cut and the small details are yours to decide, with people beside you who know what works.

Your measurements stay. Every new piece starts from the last one, so the wardrobe grows instead of starting over.

They build for the place. Before Bali I stopped by their new store in Aarhus for two suits that could handle the heat and the humidity: a lightweight tropical wool in navy and a linen blend in beige. Most cloth gives up out here. These did not.

Where it came with us

The two suits came with me to Bali. The shirts went further, to Tanzania and Zanzibar, the front of a Land Rover, a game drive at first light and a wardrobe rail in a lodge at the end of the day.

Now we are designing a new collection together for the Africa trip, made to fit the different worlds we pass through on the way. More on that as the trip comes in.

Dressed for the place, not against it.
